When I first entered college a year and a half back, my first thought was, “OK! So, this is the best college in the state. How’s it going to treat me?” The answer to that question is — AWESOME!
You have the teacher’s pets, the nerds, the workaholics, the happy-go-lucky guys, the sports hunks, the “I don’t care for the world” types, the beauty conscious girls, the Facebook buddies, the gossip girls (boys also), the guy who tops but is never seen in class, the girl who cries for a mark lost and the guy who throws a party for just passing.
Through the year, we have various technical symposiums, literary fests, cultural fests, sports fests, seminars, and so on. I still can’t fathom how we students find the time to study and what’s more — we top at our university almost exclusively! So, what is the secret of my college? Somehow, between the heavy duty textbooks, the tiring sports and the fun-filled fests, we CBITians find pleasure in everything we do. Ask a CBITian what he/she likes in the college and be ready for a five minute extempore.
There are so many hangout spots in my college that one really can’t point out to a spot and say, “This is where I hang out”. There are students at every nook and corner of the college at any given time of the day. All you CBIT alumni out there, and the present students as well, take pride in shouting out the slogan, “Coca Cola Pepsi! CBIT Sexy!”
