Thursday was a memorable day for 21-year-old B.Com student P. Raju.
The commuting ordeals of the physically challenged young man finally came to an end with Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy presenting him with a trimotorcycle at the CM’s camp office.
Raju had earlier attended the Praja Darbar that the Chief Minister regularly holds at the camp office and had told Mr Reddy about his difficulties in attending college. The CM had directed the officials concerned to arrange for a motorcycle for Raju, a native of Kandukur village in Ranga Reddy district. The vehicle was handed over to Raju with a driving licence on Thursday.
