Sashikanth was depressed as he apparently did not do well in two competitive examinations that he appeared on Saturday.
According to LB Nagar sub-inspector E. Jahangeer, he left behind a suicide note stating that nobody was responsible for his death and apologised to his parents and college management for the suicide.
Sashikanth completed his Intermediate in 2009 and appeared for ISAT and VIT E n g i n e e r i n g Entrance exam on Saturday. He appeared for IIT-Jee exam on April 8.
Police said quoting his friends that Sashikanth looked dull after cross-checking the key. Following a complaint by his father Rajiv Reddy, police registered a case of suspicious death and is investigating.
