The state government has decided to give weightage for marks obtained in
the improvement examination in Eamcet for senior Intermediate students.
Eamcet ranks will be announced for improvement students along with other students simultaneously and they will be allowed for Eamcet counselling in the first phase on par with regular students, who have not appeared for the improvement exams. The state has also decided to adopt the old method of announcing Eamcet marks first and Eamcet ranks later, after the announcement of inter advanced supplementary results.
The decisions were taken during a meeting convened by the deputy Chief Minister, Mr Damodar Raja Narasimha, with officials of the higher and secondary education departments on Friday.
